Michala has been working in the media as a historian and genealogist since 2012. She has featured on several national TV programmes such as BBC’s Heir Hunters, BBC’s Who Do You Think You Are?, Channel 4’s The Genealogy Roadshow and Great Canal Journeys with Prunella Scales and Timothy West. She has also featured in publications such as The Mail, The Daily Mirror and The Stylist Magazine.

Michala has also appeared on BBC 5 Live; BBC Radio Four; BBC Radio London; BBC Radio Berkshire; BBC Radio Somerset; BBC Radio Stoke, BBC Radio Cumbria, BBC Radio Leeds, BBC Radio Cornwall, BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester; BBC Radio Warwickshire and Coventry. She has also become a regular on BBC Radio Manchester and BBC Radio Lancashire.
